“You need to MOVE, lady!” the teen said, his voice dripping with entitlement. “My friend and I want those seats.”

Molly lifted her chin, meeting his gaze without flinching. “Young man, there are plenty of other seats empty!”

The second teen sneered. “Sure, but we want those seats, and you’re gonna give them to us!”

He lunged forward, but before he could touch her, a commanding voice boomed. “Get your hands off that lady, my friend, or you and I are going to tango!”

The teens froze, turning to see a tall man with a stern expression. “Name’s Jack. And I don’t take kindly to bullies.”

Unsure, the teens backed off, muttering as they left. Jack turned to Molly, his expression softening. “Are you alright, ma’am?”

Molly smiled in relief. “Yes, thank you. I didn’t know what to do.”

Jack nodded, sitting next to her. They talked, and she learned he was a retired officer. His kindness reminded Molly that good people still existed, even in small moments like these.
