Following her departure from NCIS in 2018, after 15 seasons, she starred in her own CBS sitcom, Broke, but the show was canceled after one season. In a tweet on July 7, Perrette excitedly shared, “I’m HAPPILY RETIRED! Finally! Woot! All I ever wanted!” She emphasized that she has shifted her focus to activities like raising rescue dogs and gardening, while also hinting she might explore writing in the future. Her fans expressed disappointment over her retirement, but Perrette expressed pride in her work and the simple life she’s now embracing.
