Now called Lancris, the dog was put on a rigid diet to help him put on weight. He had to have several little meals during the day.

He would keep doing this till he reached a weight that was reasonably safe, at which point he might start having a couple large meals.

Lancris Will Heave Away

Lancris was released from the clinic once the vets were convinced the dog would heal, and he was now in the care of his incredible savior.

She had brought him into her house and kept a tight eye on his slow but steady recuperation.

He had his skin issues treated by his new caregiver as well, so that his fur would regrow regularly.

Days had passed while his savior made every effort to get him well enough to walk once more. Though it was still early, she even urged him to attempt and move on his own.

Ten days later he was able to run as well as walk, and he would seize every chance to do so.

He is making incredible progress even though he is still on the path to recovery, and his rescuer will be there to support him every step of the process to ensure that it occurs.

Though the plot continues to be unknown, I have no doubt that Lancris is relishing his new existence and is making the most of every chance to run around and discover new places.
