When a Young Kansas City Chiefs Fan Takes a Fall, Defensive End Tershawn Wharton Heroically Swoops in Just in Time
As soon as this sweet kid starts to fall headfirst, Wharton’s eyes go wide from shock. At the same time, however, he moves swiftly toward the fan, arms wide open. From here, we can’t see what happened exactly. All we know is that Wharton successfully catches the young fan before he can hit the ground. As a result, the boy manages to remain uninjured.
“Best catch of the game!” a fellow Chiefs fan shares in response to that harrowing video, with another adding, “I think the Chiefs just made a fan for life! Thank goodness the boy is ok!”
“Core memory for that kid!” a third fan adds. “People in the bar in 10+ yrs will not believe that story! ‘One time when I was a kid attending a chefs game…’”
