Long-time dog rescuer Ashley Boggs considers helping dogs to be her life goal. A helpless brown dog stopped automobiles and begged for assistance one day as she was driving down a rural road in Puerto Rico.
This dog was acting differently than other strays, who typically hide in the woods or just meander down a busy road without any purpose—as though she was frantically trying to tell Boggs something!
Dog Momma Asking for Just One Thing
Ashley recognized when she stepped out of the car that the dog had stopped her was a nursing mother who was in need of assistance for her young puppies. This little dog, abandoned in the woods without food or water, was looking after her family by herself.
Thankfully, Boggs—a New Yorker who works at Miracles for Satos Rescue—arrived at the last minute to save the day!
In the isolated spot were two more puppies hiding, in addition to the mother dog, who was eventually given the name Goji.
Immediately amiable, all three of them, Boggs had no trouble locking them in her car. But the wooded area was erupting more puppy cries, so she felt she had to return to look into it a little more.
Finally, Boggs discovered four more puppies tucked away next to the box they had been thrown in. She worked nonstop until this big-hearted volunteer was able to put all seven of them in the back of her car.
Berry Family Timely Savings
Boggs and the other members of the staff made sure this stray family received all the care they required when she eventually drove them to the institution.Everyone of them wanted a new beginning and was starving, and they all got it!
The puppies were quite fortunate to have Boggs find them; Miracles for Satos Rescue is a group that rescues and relocates dogs from Puerto Rico to New York and assists them in finding a forever home!
All of them were placed in foster homes, where they began to interact with other dogs and pick up fundamental puppy manners. .
Being the most loving dog in the world, Goji, the mother, had no trouble adjusting to new situations!
“She is the nicest dog ever. Every canine and human she comes into contact with she adores. The MFSR crew posted on their Facebook page, “She loves rubs and cuddles and will even do tricks for treats.
Blackberry, Cloudberry, Gooseberry, Raspberry, and Strawberry were the names given to the remaining puppies.
“Being picked from the bushes, we named them after berries,” the MFSR crew remarked.
A Fresh Start Up Next
Goji was now at last in a position where she could stop worrying about her family’s safety. Her carers helped her to relax and she turned into the cutest little girl whose sole goal was to make everyone happy.
Though she enjoys taking walks, sitting on the knee of her favorite person is her favorite location in the world. Being a total sweetheart, GOJI is undoubtedly a volunteer favorite. Everyday, she cheers up the globe, the MFSR said.
The Berry family was overjoyed to find their furever families not long after their rescue!
These pawdorable furballs are currently enjoying life in their new homes after being abandoned and abandoned to the elements!
